I rarely share such detailed articles like the one below but for those that like to "geek out" on financial topics, this was very thought provoking and I really appreciated the "out of the box" thinking it offers in relation to our nations debt and the economy. The article gives a few great examples of how the private sector has incorporated ‘iterative development’ to move initial ideas forward and eventually reach solutions, improve productivity, and maximize cost efficiencies.
I debated about sharing this because simply reading certain political names can trigger people. But I encourage you to not focus on the topic of replacing taxes with tariffs or viewing this as a Democrat vs Republican issue (it's not, and the article isn't pushing an agenda on either side), but instead consider how the private sector addresses challenges and ideas and how government agencies might be able to benefit from this way of approaching issues relating to our nations debt and economy.
